Chico or Sapodilla

 Do not buy chico or sapotdilla if they are hard. What can be the harm of eating them and which sapotas  are beneficial?


Chico is a delicious and useful fruit. Chico's skin is like a potato. It contains two to ten black seeds.


Chico seeds are round or oval, i.e. pointed on one side. Its taste is sweet and cinnamon-like, while its appearance is similar to apples and pears. A chico tree produces 2,000 fruits a year. Apart from this, this sweet fruit is loaded with health treasures.

Advantages of Chico:

Provides strength to bones as it contains extra amount of calcium, iron and phosphorus- Chico also relieves constipation and also protects against other infections- Chico also has hemostatic properties and is used to reduce bleeding from hemorrhoids and wounds- If a paste is made from the seeds of chiko and applied to the insect bite, it gives relief.
Chico also protects against many germs that enter the human body - and the vitamin C found in it has the ability to release free radicals of potassium, folate and phosphorus




Which check is more profitable? Checks are available in the market in two forms.

One is hard and the other is soft. In the market, the cheapest check is usually the soft one.
In fact, because soft chiko is juicier and the pulp is cooked more with the rich power of iron, it is more beneficial for us.
Why useful? Chico is rich in vitamins such as folate and niacin, minerals potassium, vitamin C and A, while soft chico contains the highest amount of iron, which is beneficial for bone strength and infertility.

Disadvantages of eating hard chiko:

Eating hard chiko causes body fat and is a common cause of weight gain besides raising cholesterol levels.
